The brief
Built with a small team to push the "custom cursor" feature in Wix Studio as far as it could go, this project turned the cursor itself into the main character of a
frame-by-frame story told through scroll.
A dog and a butterfly, best friends — until the dog goes missing, and the butterfly sets off to find him (he does, don't worry).
The whole piece leans fully into a handmade, childlike world: mixed media throughout, illustrated both by hand and digitally, with a butterfly built from plasticine and a dog made from paper collage. Elements were animated further in After Effects to add movement beyond the scroll interaction itself. Experimental, colorful, and unapologetically fun
